Overall great podcast but I wish there had been more time spent in the beginning giving those of us who knew very little about this more background on what happened. I understand much more as the series went on but I was in the dark for a few episodes. Glad I'm listening to it though.

You don't just have to be interested in the takeover of the wildlife refuge here in Oregon to enjoy this podcast. Wonderful for anybody, like me, who is a geek about legal podcasts and hearing in detail the inner workings of the judicial process. The wonderful reporters from OPB also dive into the details and dogma of these occupiers and the political groups and ideology (like the Patriot Movement) that are directly related to their actions. THE BEST!

So very much appreciate your coverage of the trial as as well the coverage during the stand-off at the Malheur. My family and I have often traveled to Harney County and the Malheur Wildlife Refuge from the Willamette Valley to take in the wildlife and beauty there. Thanks to OPB I have learned so much through this entire process about 'who owns the West?' and all the passion and difficulty surrounding that question. All humans are biased, at least a little. The journalistic ideal is to overcome one's own biases and present the best arguments from all sides. The makers of This Land Is Our Land do that as well as anyone has.

Using OPB's usual formula of high-quality reporting and casual NorthWest style, they take you deep inside this trial. You get to know the players and the stakes. I only wish they'd update more often!

Well produced podcast, that provides excellent follow up reporting on a story with a lot of media hype. Most major news organizations dropped this story at the end of the occupation, and left us all hanging without resolution.

This podcast does a great job at distilling the key points of the trial those involved in the Oregon Occupation. An incredibly important topic for all Americans to listen to and learn about. Absolutley fantastically done.

The first couple of episodes give a really great overview of the #OregonStandoff occupation and impending trial. Following episodes are timely updates from the trial, including interviews and discussions on related topics. Since there is already a review that finds fault with Amanda Peacher's voice, I will say that if "uptalk" bothers you, Amanda is not the only one who does it. Even the guys uptalk from time to time.
