I just found you during COVID-19 and have been enjoying listening to the old episodes but i am wondering why you returned since there have been new episodes of GH. I can’t wait to hear what you think about the current situations.

General Hospital has been on soooo long…it’s crazy but I love it and am here for all the updates and discussions on this AfterShow podcast!!

This is a fun podcast for fans of General Hospital. Casual viewers and committed fans will enjoy the banter and opinions of Carla and Frank. I appreciate these two hosts are fans of the show. I don’t always agree with their opinions but I always ENJOY the show and this week’s storylines! Keep up the great work!

The suggestion to listen to this podcast came in a Facebook GH group. I am not sure I can keep listening. The too loud, too obnoxious laughing is cringeworthy and jarring, especially with earbuds in. Too much chitchat. Get to the point already. I have to forward 10 minutes every episode just to get to the GH stuff. There is no point in listening to earlier podcasts since the episodes are so old, so I don't know if the dynamic has changeed. The mics are unbalanced. Some are louder than others.

Love it as there are no other GH convos. Would really like to hear this dudeHappy go Jack ( Frank)once in awhile. A little too much Carla. Not down with Ebonics. Look forward to this and super bummed when it doesn't happen! Keep up the good work!

No podcast in two weeks? You said you’d record on Memorial Day, and now a second Sunday with no podcast. Just anxious to hear your thoughts on the Nurses Ball.... and especially Sonny flicking Shiloh in the face!!!! Where are youuuuuu????

I stopped listening and unsubscribed after you made fun of Leslie Charleson and Denise Alexander on GH on the memorial episode for Gail Baldwin. These are not just characters; they are human beings and you’re making fun of the way they walk and the way they look. That is unconscionable. I’m not listening to this kind of garbage. All I could think about was how humiliating these types of comments must be for these actors.

I rarely have time to watch tv. But I listen to this and look forward to it

I have a theory that whatever this virus is they are going to try to give it to Oscar to shrink his tumor. Love the show!

Really enjoying this show that talks about General Hospital. It’s been my fav soap since the 80s. Also the Jan 27th episode made me like Frank even more because he isn’t a Jason/Sam fan either. LOL! 😁

The podcast is well done but unfortunately it's the Carla show with her biased opinion to the exclusion of all others. To TPTB at GH, Carla does NOT represent all fans and how they view the characters!

For a General Hospital podcast to misspell Quartermaine I don’t think I can even! Quarantined? Ok.

BUT...I LOVE listening to Frank and Carla reviewing the General Hospital Show but last week when they had Lacretia Lyon on the podcast I could barely tolerate her Negativity. I hope she will not be asked back anytime soon.

I have been in and out of soaps through my mom since I was 10 years old and now at 27 I have to say that GH has been my favorite, while there are times where the storylines have me out of the show. Frank and Carla really keep me in the loop whenever I don’t watch due to whatever it may be.

You Guys really make my Sundays! Keep up the great work. Frank and Carla rules!

I have always looked forward to listening to this podcast, but I do not think I can listen anymore. Lately the female host has gotten entirely too snarky and shows extreme dislike towards actors/actresses, and even though she says she is a huge fan who has watched for years, she can’t even recall past storylines correctly or some of the actors/actresses names correctly. It has gotten to the point where I no longer enjoy listening which is a shame because I always used to.

Is James gone? Hmmm, subscribing. - 04/07/18 James, it's really great that you know your stuff. You can be the writer or the producer but it doesn't mean that you need to be the host. Frank, you're a great host and if James taught you then that's another one of his many talents. Love Lecretia's commentary and Ladine is a welcome addition. - 01/18/16 I'm so very sorry but I really like the show when James is not there. I can focus more on the recap of GH which is why I've been begging for this show on Afterbuzz. I hope they continue with just Frank and Lecretia. Their voices are easy on the ears and they're not overbearing. I know James brings a wealth of historical knowledge and clearly he keeps up with latest news but it doesn't do any good if the whole time I'm thinking about unsubscribing. - 01/05/16

Love the show but where are you? I look forward to catching up with your thoughts on Mondays but you haven’t been posting every week any more. Nathan died... we need to discuss that. Come on Frank! Where you at? James... come back already. Also please do a show discussing what the heck Sonny does. If not guns or drugs what is he smuggling?

I think this is a great recap show— the hosts have a fun chemistry and a light, positive energy. Carla is the perfect foil to the other anchor host. They each have a point of view that they express in an entertaining way; they don’t take themselves or their show too seriously but do care about it enough to have an opinion and sometimes a little good-natured criticism. Recap shows that don’t have any point of view at all are too fawning and bland. I look forward to hearing each new episode and have only two complaints — the new episodes don’t come out soon enough and we need two episodes a week, not just one!

GH Report is one of my favorite after shows. I was ambivalent about the show host shakeup but am loving Frank and Carla together. They have great energy and humor and keep the show entertaining and fun with just the right balance of recap and opinion. Now if they would only get rid of the caller segments, the show would be perfect. They add no value, IMO.

I grew up on GH and I love that the hosts know GH history. The show goes over what happened for the week and The hosts give their view on the storyline. I love that they frequently bring on actors and behind the scenes personnel to talk about the show and what's going on because you great insight into the GH world. My only recommendation would be on days when there's only one host to take more phone calls as opposed to one host talking the entire episode.

Just as much as I love GH I love listening to this podcast. When I listen, it is almost like being able to gab with my best friends about what's going on on the show. And I think of them while watching it! When Curtis has his shirt off I think of James swooning, and every dumb story line I think of Frank saying 'ugh' and Lacretia has me looking at Sonny and Carly in a whole another way, her arguments are just that convincing. You may agree or disagree with their opinions but it's always so entertaining and just awesome to listen to people talk about GH who love it as much as I do. Love you all! Keep up the great work! Us GH super fans love it. And if you're a fan of GH and aren't listening....start right now!

I love the General Hospital after show!! I don't miss an episode it makes my Monday mornings on the way to work.(Please tell Frank I have liked it on Facebook). I have been a GH fan since Luke and Laura. The hosts bring a great perspective to the weeks worth of shows. Even though i don't always agree with their opinions there hasn't been a show that I haven't laughed!

Each and every episode of the General Hospital weekly reviews of the soap are fabulous. The hosts, led by James Lott, Jr., are outstanding. They are all informed about he characters, are funny, and share each week’s reviews in an engaging way. This show is not to be missed if you watch General Hospital.

I enjoy this podcast and think that the hosts have great chemistry. In contrast to a previous review, I’ve never heard the hosts express (or allude to) a personal dislike of an actor/actress; to the contrary, the hosts consistently show great respect for everybody on the show. I enjoy that the hosts speak candidly about the characters and storylines that they are enjoying and those they aren’t, as this is the reality of being a soap fan. The podcast feels like an authentic conversation between real GH fans, which is what makes it fun.

I have listened to your podcast since it started. However I have decided not to listen anymore. There are a couple of the hosts that let their bias about characters and actors come into their commentary of the show. We all have our personal favorites and I don't expect everyone to have the same opinions. I enjoy good discussion and different views. However, when opinions turn to snarky bitter comments directed in a negative tone toward actor/actress, I am done. Especially when those said comments clearly project you personal dislike of the actor/actress.
