Amazing podcast, pls post more consistently! I’m dying to listen.

One of the best Timbers podcasts out there!

This is the best Timbers podcast, among very solid competition. I think it has the best tactical analysis as well as the best human focused fan commentary. The non-Timbers discussion that occasionally comes up is so interesting—I find it super charming.

Thanks so much for doing this podcast. I enjoy the insight, analysis, perspective and banter. I know you do this as a hobby but you do a great job and are very engaging. You make other amateur podcasts sound mundane.

Let me say it again…great podcast! Way better than Extra Time, the Timbers podcast, and Soccer Made In Portland. Love the super deep dive and legitimate discussion of tactics, formations, players, and coaching…er…uh…choices!

When I first discovered your podcast the intro bugged the crap out of me as an old man yelling at clouds but when you took a well deserved hiatus I grew to miss the both of you. Thank you for continuing to share the best perspective on the teams I love and owner I hate. Keep it up and hope the sun comes out on both of your days.

I miss this podcast for many reasons: Pete helped me see the game better and Pat helped me see the world better. The podcast dated 10/03/2022 was a perfectly succinct, perfectly stated surprise. Nailed it, thanks Pat. 👏

I moved to Portland last year and promptly went to my first Timbers game and have fallen so far into this fandom. Your podcast was a huge part of that and I always loved when a new episode popped into my feed. I hope you both are doing well post-podcast life and miss your analysis and general conversation!

Great show by two lovely soccer (Timbers) curmudgeons but I’m not gonna talk about it.

Love listening to these guys. Very good, detailed Timbers analysis, plus good conversation and humor about soccer culture and culture in the Portland area in general.

I’ve listened to several Timbers podcasts, but I’ve unsubscribed from them all except Morrisonic. It’s just such a great blend of soccer reporting & analysis (Pete) & jibba jibba (Pat). Throughly entertaining. I get a preview of the upcoming match AND a soccer team roster of Halloween candy? I love it. Highly recommend if you follow the Portland Timbers.

Great podcast with good analysis of Timbers games.

Don’t always agree with the takes but I love the balance of soccer, world events, and adult life dating. Am I the only one that enjoys the dating stories?

Well, one of them knows soccer and one of them learns about soccer. I’ll let you figure out who is who. It’s a good pod about Timber’s and some of MLS with solid tactical breakdown of games, with a few life lessons thrown in. We don’t watch soccer to be sad

Don’t always agree with what you say, but love the podcast. Oh and the podcast I’m listening to now one of you is in Brazil and I can’t tell from sound quality. You make professional podcasts look bad. The Alexi Llalas podcast when he was in Russia sucked and he blamed being far away and not being in the same place as his fellow podcaster. You guys don’t have their problem! Keep up the good work!

Pat and Pete have the wit, eloquence, intensity, and rapport to offer highly entertaining, insightful, and heavily-biased opinions about our favorite club, the Timbers. Generally speaking, one provides analytical scrutiny while the other provides a more visceral interpretation of each game and assessment of the club, gifting listeners a near-weekly oratory masterpiece.

Pat and Pete have a compelling take on our local soccer team and a good way to look at the rest of the world at the same time. Always worth it!

Pete's team/player/match analysis is insightful, and Pat is fun/interesting. They do a good job of keeping/putting things in perspective, and I'm happy to have their collective voice commenting on the Timbers.

Pat and Pete’s genuine takes are refreshingly honest and humble. I appreciate their sense of humor and opinions on the Timbers and their commitment to podcast throughout the offseason.

Especially love the fact that they really break down players and rules. I’m a relatively new soccer fan. But I’m all in now. Like the chemistry of hosts and hope they will do more on basic rules to help the newer fans understand the game better. Thanks for continuing shows in the off season. Keep it up!

Started listening this spring and have really enjoyed the informative perspective that Pat and Pete bring. Every body brings something different to the table and I really appreciate how they step back and try to see things objectively. Also appreciate oppinions on MLS and Timbers dealings from a Financial perspective in how business works this is a different world to me and I find it refreshing to hear things from new perspectives. Keep up the good work.

Not quite the production value of a Gimlet Media Pod, but pretty darn good content.

Excellent podcast that should be a must-listen for anyone who loves Portland soccer or just living in Portland. Indeed, this show filled the Timbros-shaped hole in my heart.

Informative, upbeat, concise, humorous & progressive... no other Timbers pod has this winning 🏆 combo. I look forward to the pod each week and have been telling my RCTID friends!

There's better produced and high quality pods out there but the Morrisonic guys are my first go to pod every week. RCTID

I love this podcast. The hosts have very dry and sarcastic humor. It's also very funny how little they actually know about MLS but they try to cover it anyways. I think they're very rarely correct on most things, but I love the effort and how they go about discussing things. It's just amusing how inaccurate they are.

I really can't praise Pat and Pete enough for brining their unique perspective about the Timbers, Thorns, and National Team soccer. Their decades old friendship shines through in their voices and demeanor, and listening is like being around the dinner table with your two best friends talking soccer. If you're looking for something that you can listen to with your kids it's great, as they make a point not to use foul language or be dour even when the team(s) perform poorly. I look forward to this podcast every time, as it's guaranteed to make me smile, make me question the standard narratives that surround whatever subject is discussed, and motivated to watch soccer with a different perspective. Great job fellas!

Very informative Timbers podcast.

Very smart analysis of the game. New listener here and the ep. I listened to included a couple minute talk on graphs that made me so happy. #NerdIn

Like most of the others, I was a seeker, a mover, a malcontent, and at times a stupid hell-raiser. I was never idle long enough to do much thinking, but I felt somehow that my instincts were right. I shared a vagrant optimism that some of us were making real progress, that we had taken an honest road, and that the best of us would inevitably make it over the top. At the same time, I shared a dark suspicion that the life we were leading was a lost cause, that we were all actors, kidding ourselves along on a senseless odyssey. It was the tension between these two poles—a restless idealism on the one hand and a sense of impending doom on the other—that kept me going. Hunter S. Thompson wrote that in the prologue to The Rum Diaries. I don’t know what that has to do with this podcast, but maybe some of that tension propels you guys, too. I like to hear you talk.
