$w@g Mastahilarious!I love Saturday Night Live so to see an after show podcast is super cool. Love the content!

aliciakenworthyHelped me rediscover SNL2020 was the year I rediscovered SNL with my boyfriend (who’s a huge fan.) This podcast is the perfect accompaniment! I love listening to the post-show debriefs and thinking more critically about which sketches worked and why. Looking forward to next season.

SNL&JazzBuffA must for SNL buffsThis is a really fun podcast. If you’re a major SNL buff, this is the show for you.
-
#supguysI really love the podcast! It is a fantastic podcast with SNL-smart people! The panel pointed out many things in the Saturday Night Live universe that I never knew, even as a very deep SNL nerd myself. I really appreciate the content, keep it up!!

abc12shGood show but sad to find out it's pay only now.Used to listen religiously but dropped off, excited to hear their take on this season only to find a highlight only episode on Bill Burr. Seriously you guys want to be the HBO of podcasts now? There's not even a full version with ads. How are you going to gain ad revenue when everyone unsubs? I like you guys and I want to listen but this is the wrong move.

mohneirThe new voice to the cast is greatKatherine provides a great new perspective to the cast in the multitude of ways!

RockstarHarLove the new voice!!Katherine with a K is fantastic, I hope to hear from her again!

briley275733New format is disappointingI subscribe to 30 or so podcasts and many of the creators run a Patreon which allows for access to additional content and not the bulk of the main podcast. Really enjoyed this show but only hearing a review of one or two of the sketches without paying is brutal. It’s a shame because this was by far the best SNL podcast I had come across.

cmon man whatMonthly train wreckWas considering a subscription until I heard the month in review episodes. Last month’s was bad but this month is even worse. What a train wreck.

LessCouchOnDear Kristin Stewart,I am more punk and bohemian than you. In closing: you are phony-edgy and stink at hosting SNL. My wife hates you with a passion. -Les Couchon- 💄🐷🍒👠

amordahlGreat podcast, but behind a paywallThis is a great podcast; it was appointment listening for season 44. I will be unsubscribing due to the new structure, in which the episodes on the free feed are only highlights of the full discussion, and have ad space. The full episodes are only available on Patreon. I won’t pretend to know what the hosts’ situation is, and I can only assume they’ve done this out of necessity and not greed. So if you are in a position to support it, then I would recommend it.

stevemarksNot the full show? Was a great podcast until they put it behind a paywall. You cannot listen to this without forking out money. Other podcasts monetize using ads, which makes sense. Hope another podcast steps in to fill in the gap. Bummer.

MarvinDwayneGood.Look, I like the podcast. I think it’s great that you’re selling ad space- I’ll check out those granola bars! I will not, however, subscribe to your patreon. Sorry, not going to happen, no matter how great you are. I’m happy to listen to ads and check out the products when I can. I’ll remain hopeful that you’re able to monetize using this avenue and eventually bring the podcast back...before someone else jumps in and fills the gap.

Destroyer76Serious?Now they want money to listen to them discussing a skit show? I don’t think so. Unsubbing.

GirlluvzombiesHave to pay for the full podcast episode?I really had enjoyed this podcast. But now going into season 45, we are only getting to hear partial of the episode. We have to contribute to get the full episode. What used to be almost an hour episode was cut down to 22 minutes. It was very disappointing, especially since I waited all summer to listen to this podcast when the new season started.

kaden nemecSnlEverywhere I go SNL I love it

Stephy2Mainly good.I like hearing the perspectives of the 2 main guys, although their Canadianess often makes them miss out on the American nuances of some jokes. As for Mike and Mario, I’ve always enjoyed Mike from various podcasts. Mario still (as I reviewed on the other SNL podcast with him) doesn’t seem culturally aware.

LOVER!!:DMale PerspectiveThis podcast is enjoyable and makes me think more about the quality of comedy we are consuming. However, this is a very white male perspective. I would love to have some diversity and new perspectives. Please have some women and POC as guests and it would add a lot to the podcast!

Wendy DavidsonFunnier than snlI only watch snl to listen to this show

JewtopiaGreat to listen to!The most polite review of anything I have ever heard 🙂 and love the Canadian accents! They do a great and fair analysis of the show. As a fan who has not watched SNL in a long time, this made me want to go back to it 😊

Jissy111Great podcastI really appreciate the effort put into this podcast. I have listened to other SNL podcasts which shall go unnamed, where the hosts strayed off topic way too much , as if they didn’t care that the listener specifically sought out the show to hear opinions on SNL. I will say that I have yet to find an SNL podcast which puts up episodes on time after each episode, and this one is keeping with that tradition of tardiness. As I am listening to it, it is a few days after the Seth Myers episode, and they are talking about the Awkafina episode. I think they are planning on putting up new episodes on the Tuesday after the episode - but by that time most of the critics , articles, reactions , have already come out and I think people are thinking of the next episode. The two hosts are great . They have been a little low energy but they speak with an authority on writing , and I think they try to be very fair to the show. They don’t go into a review prepared to hate the show or love the episode. If I were on the writing staff of SNL, this is the podcast I would listen to this show to get a fair perspective.

DarlingMia74We Get ItI love SNL. I haven’t missed an episode in at least 20 years. I really like this podcast too but when the SNL hosts or performers are diverse, the guys come off flippant (in my opinion). I can understand not knowing who someone is but they regularly mispronounce names when all they have to do is pull up a video of someone else saying their name. They go on and on and on and on about how they don’t know this person. I get it: it’s not their scene and they’re FAR removed from this culture and that’s okay. But it also seems like,as a recapper, they’d want to have a very base familiarity of who they’re critiquing. I’m old school and you couldn’t pay me to listen to a lot of stuff but they could at least IMDB the host/performer to inform a statement like “I’m not familiar with this person but I looked them up and they have a long list of accomplishments in this way or that.” (Or whatever). It sounds like I’m slamming them but I’m not. Just my opinion. Other than that they do a great job!!

TimmyGisAwesomeReminds me of my friendsAs I was listening to SNL Afterparty, I was reminded of conversations that I’ve had with my friends. We love SNL and critique it with the same love and care of these two hosts. They have good insights into the future of the show and its players. I really loved the conversation about Alec Baldwin overstaying his time as Trump. I think it’s something a lot of fans who grew up with the show have been thinking, that it’s time for celebrity to take a backseat and let one of the players handle the character. I will definitely be coming back to this one.

MightymayCanada? Canada. It awesome to hear a Canadian spin on SNL from two friends with great chemistry and a lot of knowledge about the show. Keep up the good work guys- I’m a fan.

maverickdYasss! Been looking for an SNL after show!I love after shows even more than actual shows (#truth). I randomly stumbled across this and so glad I did because what's even funnier than SNL? The after show! Stoked this exists.

how dare you.Smart analysis that entertains and continues to growThis is my favorite SNL breakdown show. The host have a good time with what they are doing. They have recently started to mix in weekly co-hosts to change it up. While there isn't much a recap show can do to stand out from the crowd, this one makes the effort by trying different things. Worth the listen.

rivasgirlyssBest podcast! If you're a fan of SNL, you're going to love this podcast. John Murray provides a great review of every show and I always look forward to hearing his opinion.
-
IOShelpsmeIf you enjoy SNLGreat analysis of the guest actors. It's good to get a look into what makes scenes work and don't. Now if only SNL itself could get better

paylea15From a huge SNL fan...it's great!I love this podcast!! I usually listen to another SNL podcast, but I like this one even more. The episodes are to the point and I love the analysis of the sketches. I usually agree with everything they say. I will definitely be tuning in every week!

FantasyBaller9000If You Enjoy SNL and Podcasts, You'll Love ThisI've been an SNL fan my entire life and have seen so many episodes. Having a podcast that I can listen to on my commute that kind of relives the funny moments from each show is really awesome. It's a great concept, executed really well, and very entertaining from beginning to end. Absolutely worth checking out and subscribing!
