Jeff and Aaron do such a wonderful job weaving all their characters into a fun world, while also preserving the simple joys of rolling on a table and seeing what nonsense comes up. And each little micro-story can have a surprising amount of emotional range that makes each episode a true adventure. A real delight!

Don’t really know what to say, besides I love this show. Aaron and Jeff are just two funny, positive, and supportive dudes! I love hearing what they have to say, and experiencing their creative process. If you’re having a bad day, I highly recommend getting comfortable and just listening for a bit (at least that’s turned my day around on multiple occasions)

If you’ve never listened to an episode, you’re not missing some fundamental truth or searing hot take about the niche hobby of your choice, but you are guaranteed to be having a less good day than you would be if you picked one right now and pressed play. They’re good people who love things, and honestly? That’s no small feat. AMFC is a panacea in an irony-poisoned void and a testament to the importance of earnest enthusiasm in a world riddled with big unsolvable problems. I don’t know why I’ve listened to 70+ episodes without writing a review but here we go. AMFC is a delightful journey through the genesis and apotheosis of a fantasy gaming world and it couldn’t be better. Character by character, Jeff and Aaron bring the world to life without ever straying from the central logic that a world is truly made interesting by the lives that inhabit it. I love this show. It’s an excellent, inspiring capsule of creativity that reminds us what a wonderful treat it is to collaborate. The imagination and love of fiction is contagious. This show always leaves my gears spinning about what worlds we could create and stories we could tell.

Aaron & Jeff are amazing storytellers & overall great people. Please let them lull you into a false sense of security & then hit you with a ghost train full of emotions. The characters they create are multi-dimensional & evocative. The verbal hugs at the end of most episodes are incredibly good. Overall, this is a fantastic, wholesome podcast, & that kind of content don’t grow on a tree. P.S. literal emotional roller coaster in Fantasy when??

Aaron and Jeff bring you into the world of Fantasy and just keep saying yes, turning the simplest prompts into incredible tales and turning out new characters each week for FREE. This is a must-listen if you like DnD, character creation, role playing, or are searching for something after binging The Adventure Zone.

AMFC is an excercise in creating the best world possible with what you've got, and the results are inspirational. Each week, Jeff and Aaron take a listener prompt and combine that inspiration with a wide variety of random tables to create a new character with a rich story and vivid personality. But that character doesn't exist in a void, as each new child adds layers and unexplored regions to the shared world of Fantasy - a world that has evolved into a place of inclusivity and optimism, built upon the idea that if everyone builds each other up and works on what they love, we can save the world. On top of all that, the verbal hug at the end of each episode is worth the listen alone.

I love listening to All My Fantasy Children! The hosts Jeff and Aaron are always super inclusive and supportive, and the show is always both hilarious and poignant. I've learned about a lot of cool and different rpg books and resources from this show that I hadn't ever heard of before! I definitely recommend giving it a listen!

One of the most original concepts in tabletop podcasting I've heard so far. Jeff and Aaron weave an intricate tapestry of colorful characters and their sometimes absurd, sometimes tragic, often intersecting lives. Not just a fun listen but a boost for the spirits. Long Live Big Jeremy.

Party of One was recently recommended to me, and that led to my into to this. I adore this. This is a font of hilarity and inspiration. I love listening while I'm campaign building for the D&D game I DM. I recently came to the problem of not having the right monsters for what I wanted and an building them now. This podcast keeps the ideas flowing and entertains immensely. Of course, while I was at it I had to build a stat block for Big Jeremy. Great job guys!

Every episode, Aaron and Jeff make up characters from settings that are suggested by the fans. Their chemistry is so great, it makes for a great show. Aaron's excitement when the characters and stories are told is infectious. I love everything about what this show is about. You won't be disappointed.

By delightful characters, I am of course referring to Jeff and Aaron the dedicated hosts of All My Fantasy Children. These two really bring out the joy of character creation with prompts from the listening audience! They discuss ideas, build them up, and create epic backstories! Of late, they've been connecting the characters into a sort of AMFC-verse which has been an exceptional delight. Both Jeff and Aaron are compelling, fun hosts and their laughter and cheer throughout. This is just such a solid pick-me-up during the week. Additionally, they use a wide variety of generation systems to come up with traits and concepts for the characters!

Frick, I am way overdue for writing this. AMFC manages to bottle lightning with every single episode. It's character creation, yeah, but it's also worldbuilding, storytelling, and genuine entertainment. You WILL find a favorite Fantasy Child, every single one of them is beyond compelling, but sometimes magic strikes and you end up thirsty for a goat man who has a penchant for tasteless prop comedy. Not only is the podcast incredible (out of the 83 shows in my backlog it's the ONLY one that I'm ever caught up on) but the hosts go out of their way to nurture the fan community. Both are warm and inviting on Twitter, and their Discord feels like a comfortable group of friends. The show & community are a great sense of warmth and joy for me. Thank you for AMFC. It's the best holiday gift I could ask for!
