My eyes almost rolled out my head when the very first thing you mention about Jury Duty is how it is problematic. Good lord if you cant enjoy that light-hearted show I’m not sure what might actually like. The concerns didnt even make sense given that that they go out of their way to make Ronald look like a great guy the entire time.

This show helps me save time. Instead of watching shows, I can quickly learn about a pilot in less than 10 minutes. They also cover a lot of different streaming platforms. Some that I had never heard of it! I wish they would cover movies too but I love the focus on TV pilots.

I really like this podcast. I mainly use Netflix for TV and they are regularly reviewing the newest series which helps me know what’s worth investing my time into. I wish BJ and Mitu covered more Netflix shows but it’s also cool that they cover all the different streaming platforms.

I love this show. You can tell the host get along well and have good chemistry. They helped me find some cool new shows like Girls5eva. Sometimes the episodes are long but I still enjoy listening to them during my workouts.

Listened to episode “Lupin (Netflix)”. Enjoy the pace and rhythm of this podcast. You two have a natural chemistry between each other that doesn’t feel forced. Very chill and laid back, yet you generate intrigue in a unique way. I remember seeing “Lupin the Third” the anime. This episode got me hype to see the new installment. Love the jokes and how you keep it light hearted. So many serious podcasts today. It’s good to relax and listen to a fresh perspective. I want to come back and check this podcast before I watch any new shows. Recommend this to anyone who enjoys streaming platforms and finding new things to binge watch. Great concept and very concise podcast. Very fun!

The podcast is okay, but I wish they focused more on the story structure, world building, and acting in each pilot, rather than just recounting their reactions. The critique of morals for non-children’s shows is a bit much (ex: Letterkenny episode).

Unlike the other pilot podcasts, this podcast doesn't take 2-3 times the length of the pilot episode to let the listener know if they should watch the show. The epiosdes are concise. The discussion are intelligent and thought provoking. And there are zero white male hosts (and before you lose your feces racist white guys, this is coming from a white guy who would love to hear more non white guys in podcasting) Check them out, they will prove themselves worthy of your TV media time.

i love this show. the chemistry between the hosts is great, and they’re so funny. some really good takes peppered in a good show about tv. plus i’ve found a few new shows to watch bc of this podcast.

This show had me hooked from the concept alone. Everytime I want to watch a new show, I have to slog through the exposition heavy "Pilot Episode". BJ and Mitu are doing the hard work for you! It's so interesting to hear them discuss the first episodes of shows that are really good, but all we're here for is that pilot. Love the energy and the knowledge they bring.

I love the concept of the show because it’s two people judging other people’s thoughts brought to life(which i love). I also do not watch much television so being able to listen to people talk and break down all of these new shows coining out helps me narrow down what i will spend some of my free time watching.

The pilot podcast is incredibly witty and funny. I’m not a huge fan of podcasts in general, but this one seems like I’m just listening to two friends talk about TV. 5 Stars I’ll definitely keep listening.
