A lot of podcasts I play at 1.5 and skip through commercials. Not this one! No commercials and these guys talk at a good clip and they spit menswear fire. Just click play and you’re good to go. Would like to hear more MJ on mic, would take this pod from 5 to 6 stars

The show’s hosts, Ethan and Spencer, are fascinated by the world of men’s clothing, and have an innate curiosity about its history. While I don’t always agree with their opinions, Ethan and Spencer are articulate in their explanations of their choices, and make it easy to see why they came to their conclusions.

If you hate being yelled at by “menswear” YouTubers than your going to love these guys! Style and Direction is the fireside chats of menswear podcasts. Ethan’s voice glides into your ears like a greased pig in college teen coming of age movie. Spencer keeps the show grounded with his beautiful descriptions of the images he is “putting in the show notes”. It truly is 10/10 well in this case 5/5.

Great tips and anecdotes from the world of menswear, but the real selling point is the rapport between the two hosts. Most of the fun is just listening to these two hanging out.

After looking into classic menswear and street style for about a year and feeling ostracized by #menswear, this is the first time I feel normal with these interests, just listening to Ethan and Spencer discuss these topics with their great guests. They’re not trying to plug fashion watches, or poo-poo other avenues of style, and as bad as this sounds just playing their podcasts at random points of the week makes me feel like I’m part of a hangout with fellow lovers of classic menswear. Couldn’t recommend enough, keep going #sadboys

Informative, casual and enthusiastic. It's incredibly cool to hear fellow millennials excited (and educated) about vintage clothing, without being stuffy snobs about its uses. I recommend this for any guy interested in learning about menswear, even those who think they're uninterested in vintage/classic clothing. If you go in with an open mind, you're bound to gradually integrate Ethan and Spencer's knowledge into your styling/wardrobe. Looking forward to more episodes!
