It’s important to listen to this pod after you’ve already seen Rebels once through. The later discussions of season 1 & early season 2 have HUGE spoilers I wouldn’t have wanted to hear if it was my first time watching rebels. The hosts do disclose this early so take this seriously. Im listening to the pod going through my second viewing of Rebels and I’m super grateful for the thoughtful discourse. Looking forward to making it through all discussions. And now to be part of the gang: My least favorite thing in Star Wars will forever be Rey Palpatine. My favorite thing in Star Wars is Kanan Jarrus/Jedi Knight. It’s so powerful and shows us what Anakin could have been.

The conversations are thorough and considerate. As a Rebels lover, I was tentative to hearing any else’s feelings about anything Star Wars but I’ve grown to appreciate the thoughts within this show.

Exactly what I was looking for in a Rebels podcast- some people who aren’t afraid to point out how much murder is in this children’s show.

This is great! I listen to every episode and have never been disappointed! If I were scaling I would do meeting Ashoka (ugh.) to Luke staring at twin Suns! Anyone who loves Star Wars should watch this!I will keep listening for as long as it goes on! Great job!

Everyone can point to a Star Wars movie as their favorite, but if I’m being honest, my favorite “movie” is Star Wars Rebels. Yes, I know it’s not actually a movie, but something about this series feels so closely personal and emotional to me that to me this tops every movie. Though I’ve rewatched the entire series of Rebels 5 times, I still love to relive it in its glory, and this podcast does just that. It even pulls small facts that I didn’t get even after 5 rewatches (and that’s pretty difficult to do). Plus, the deep dives are rather deep and insightful. Within the two weeks I’ve spent binging this pod, it quickly rose to be my favorite! I can’t wait for S3 and S4! To end here’s my least and most favorite Star Wars things: - Jar Jar saving Padme’s life in the underwater episode of The Clone Wars by literally spitting in her face - when Ezra says “and remember the Force will be with you always” right before taking off with the Purrgil while everyone stares up in silence to the sky with awe during the Rebels S4 finale before you hear “was that the plan?” (P.S. I hope this gets me entered in the contest.) @samwowx

Nov 2018 update: This show is still brilliant. And I forgot how much I liked even the filler episodes of Rebels. This is THE show to pair with watching. My ratings scale would probably be the Dooku/Yoda fight dialogue where they just...transition from the Force to lightsaber fighting with that awful dialogue like phases of a video game battle...to the best thing in Star Wars being the build up of multiple sequences of tension climaxing in the Holdo maneuver. @TI30612 here. This is the perfect pairing with Rebels and makes for hilarious and insightful commentary on one of my favorite shows.

Peter and Mike have fun and insightful conversations about my favorite Star Wars animated show, and even though we may not see eye to eye on certain things, they present their perspectives in a respectful and engaging way. Keep up the great work!

I’ve been a Star Wars fan my whole life but didn’t get into Rebels until the latter days of season four when I binged the whole series leading up to the finale. It’s probably my favorite Star War right now. Getting to relive the series with these Deep Dives helps connect it to the wider universe and brings up a lot of things I missed the first couple of times I watched. Everything in Star Wars is done intentionally, and Rebels Rebels is a great way to uncover those easter eggs while gaining a more complete view of Star Wars. My scale runs from “Anakin using the Force to cut fruit” on the low end in Attack of the Clones, to the Rebels season 2 finale as my Very Best Of Star Wars Right Now. Can’t wait for that recap. Keep up the great work guys.
