Listening this morning and thinking how true Lisa’s words are that she shares. I appreciate authentic words that always point back to the Bible. In a season where I often don’t feel seen, this has been a place where I’m reminded that God sees me and loves me most.

Hands down, one of my favorite podcasts! I love Lisa’s heart, wisdom, and authenticity!

I appreciate how Lisa shares her beliefs/commentary on different issues… without fluff, with integrity, and Jesus at the center. Jesus Over Everything stands out to me compared to other Christian podcasts. This show is rich, theologically-sound, and practical - everything I am looking for in a podcast. Keeps me coming back for more!!

This has become my favorite podcast! I love how Lisa challenges us to have Jesus be the center of our lives, and encourages us that with Him it’s truly a better life!

The Jesus Over Everything has been an amazing find! Lisa is a thoughtful interviewer and always has interesting guests. I love how her unfiltered shows discuss the things we are all talking about with our friends, but aren’t addressed as much corporately. She tells it like it is, always rooted in Biblical truth. This podcast will leave you challenged, encouraged, and wanting more of Jesus.

As a long-time listener, I have to say, Season 11 has been like NO other. I have loved Lisa’s dedication to scripture with practical steps to help in my walk with Christ. Her honesty is refreshing, and I appreciate that she doesn’t hesitate to share solid truth! Grateful for this quick, no fluff show that gets straight to the heart of the topic. 5 stars!

Lisa is the real deal! She talks on her podcast just like she teaches from a stage, writes her many amazing books, or how she talks in person over coffee. She is authentic, wise, so very helpful, and I always glean something new from her episodes of this amazing podcast. I love the guests she chooses to have on, and I love her style. Her podcast is my favorite of them all! Truly!

Always look forward to the lisa unfiltered episodes. I like the real way you speak about your life. You don’t try and tell the listeners what to do, with out having faced the trial yourself. Keep up the good work!

I love how Lisa & her guests are so raw & honest about their struggles, shortcomings, & strongholds. It’s a breath of fresh air. Lisa & Friends breaths out hope to a fallen world. I always LOVE the end when Lisa asks “What is the last thing you would share about Jesus?” And I love how everyone has different answers, yet they all move my soul to a deeper love for Him! Edited to add: Lisa Unfiltered is the exact content Christians need. Lisa has put to words so many thoughts I’ve privately had about similar topics. It’s time we listen and speak out on these issues.

In a world where we are tempted to live in a “Jesus and…” type of way, Lisa Whittle weekly reminds us of the life we are called to- Jesus and Jesus alone over everything else. Lisa doesn’t hesitate to call us out on even the “normal” freedoms we justify that prevent us from Jesus at center. My only hesitation in this review is to be cautious before hitting play if you’re truly not sure if you are ready to live a JOE life because there’s no way after listening that the Holy Spirit wont convict and nudge you to a much more uncomfortable life.

As a mom of four kids, I’m so grateful for the topics that Lisa courageously speaks on. I’ve been listening for quite some time, but Season 10 has been exactly the things I’ve needed to hear. I felt freedom and peace after listening to her interview with Alli Worthington on motherhood, and felt challenged by the things I might be using for comfort (instead of God) with the Women and Alcohol episode. I’m looking forward to more of Lisa Unfiltered!

I have listened to your podcasts and read a couple of your books. Thank you for the work you’re doing! I have personally and professionally struggled with the role of social media in my life and business. You are correct in the fact, social media is here and a TON of people are on there, whether I like it or not. I often ask myself, why I keep staying on there because I don’t tend to walk away from it feeling better for it. It may start out fine but quickly can turn into many of the things you mentioned. Praying about my use and interactions prior to engagement both personally and professionally, as well as placing specific parameters is what I need to focus more on. Although I may not experience peace in engaging through social media, I believe you are correct in, “If all the christian’s walk away from social media, where are the spiritual influences?” This was a great concept to end on today. I will definitely have to reconsider how I show up.

I recently stumbled upon Lisa’s podcast. Oh. My. Word. AMAZING. My natural bend towards achievement and doing, my desire to be dependent on and in deep relationship with Jesus, and my major preference for all things authentic and real… are all fully satisfied in listening to this podcast. After an episode, I am left feeling encouraged, convicted, and inspired all at once. Highly recommended!

I appreciate the little nuggets I can carry throughout the day. One 5 word prayer I continue to pray is “This is not my territory” I miss the 5 word prayers but I have absolutely grown to love the new 2 day shows. It took a while though. I love the JOE podcast! Lisa does a great job of bringing the audience to a place of seeing that Jesus truly is over everything! Many episodes have put me to searching my heart to see what I may be running to or putting over Jesus! I always look forward to the question Lisa asks every guest at the end of the podcast, “if you could only say one last thing about Jesus, what would you say?”

I was going to say Lisa is a good Interviewer, but she is more than that! Her approach is as simple as can be but the questions she asks are truly fruitful and prompts a good discussion which listeners, like me, find truly enjoyable to listen! I’m weaning myself from multiple podcasts after deciding I have too many advisors so to speak. I’ll keep a couple that speak truth into my life through the voices of those who use biblical truth and combine it with current cultural challenges. This podcast has been a steady reminder of a life God sees for me when things in life say otherwise.

I am so thankful I happened to find this podcast after listening to Lisa as a guest in another one. I like the length of the regular encouragements. I am beyond thankful for her current series. The podcast with Vicki about raising older children was water to my thirsty soul! I have been looking and looking for podcasts that touch on raising older children and godly mothering adults.
