lowtechgeekInformative, entertaining and approachableI homeschool with the Montessori method and listen to a lot of podcasts… this, in my opinion, is truly one of the best.. Aubrey not only has a deep knowledge of The Montessori Method, but she also delivers each topic in an entertaining and approachable way.

happydogparentGreat!Heard about this podcast from another parent and love it!

fudgesmommyMathIf you’re going to “teach” people about math beads and how to use them, you should probably learn the history of those math beads, especially if you claim to teach it to your students every year…

Cici-iEnjoy the PodcastThis is one of few podcasts my two year old will happily listen to while she plays. Interesting content and great tips!
-
darlenej12Very informative!!I have so many questions in my journey to Montessori and I’ve been able to find all my answers through this podcast. And if you aren’t already signed up for Aubrey’s homeschooling it’s a must! Thank you Aubrey

RainnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnInspiringI listen to this podcast during my 14 month old daughter’s naps. It’s that little bit of parenting inspiration that I need to get through the rest of the day. I love how Aubrey shares a parent’s routine and the bit of gratitude in each episode. I also love that the topics are so unique. I almost didn’t listen to the episode about entrepreneurship because I figured it wouldn’t apply to my life with my little one, but I listened anyway. And I’m so glad I did. It was a great reminder to REALLY follow the child. I can always count on this podcast to get me excited about learning and growing with my daughter.

Helen GausWise words of support for parents!Listening to Aubrey’s podcast is like hanging out with a wonderful, knowledgeable friend when I’m lonely and confused as a parent of a young child. I bought one of her books and I plan to take a workshop when the time is right. Don’t miss this resource.

jussara_interAmazing PodcastI love this learning with Aubrey! It’s an awesome podcast ❤️❤️

S.Lynn80Motivational & InspirationalI have worked as a certified Primary Montessori teacher for over a decade, but I am staying home this year to homeschool my daughter and another families children (they are formed students of mine). In this transition time of learning to implement Montessori at home with elementary aged children, Aubrey has provided me such insight, inspiration and wisdom! I just love listening to her calm and peaceful voice! Thanks for all you do for this community Aubrey!
-
angryan11Keeping mama on track!I love this podcast and anything else Aubrey does! Just listening to this podcast helps keep me on track to my goals as a mom. I’m also enrolled in her child of the redwoods primary homeschooling course, which I’m so excited about! I also love that Aubrey doesn’t make me feel bad about any set backs I have in my journey to being a better mom and homeschooler.
-
mama bookwormBrilliant resource!I was introduced to Montessori when my first child was 1 and ever since, I’ve been devouring as much information as possible. Aubrey’s podcast offers such rich information and practical advice for parents who want to implement Montessori ideas at home, even if we don’t have formal training. My husband and I both love listening to this podcast! I took her Homeschool of the Redwoods course and I felt so prepared thanks to the information I had already learned from the podcast. Thank you for sharing your wealth of wisdom, Aubrey! You’re making Montessori accessible for everyone!
-
aegwiseSuch a helpful podcast! Our kids do go to a Montessori school and this podcast has really helped me better understand how to support them at home. Whether it’s general mom advise or a deeper dive into a specific Montessori topic, Aubrey is always on point. Thanks for doing what you do!
-
Em GarlinskyOne of my favorites! This is one of my favorite podcasts and I have learned so much from Aubrey. She presents everything in such an easily-understood way. And never makes me feel like a “bad” parent if I have been doing something differently from what she suggests. Highly recommend!!
-
pocapunknzThank youThank you for doing a show on screen time. And thank you for your judge free advice. I’ve been harboring such guilt and worry about my daughter being exposed to far more screen time then I’d like. I have a partner who isn’t as concerned about it as I am. Now I feel that I can let go of some of those “she’s going to be irreversibly damaged” thoughts roaming my head.
-
yourfriendjuliaI love this podcast!I love hearing Aubrey’s kind, judge-free advice and explanations for every aspect of Montessori. I listen to her regularly as a way of not only learning more about living a Montessori lifestyle, but also as a chat with a fellow parent who is loving and open-hearted in her quest to bring Montessori into the lives of others. Thank you, Aubrey!

Jmp011579Motivation at its finest.I listen to This podcast for my own sanity. I am not a perfect mom. I yell and swear. I’m also not as educated as most Montessori moms that I have met, with college degrees. I grew up in an environment where yelling and cursing was looked at as normal. But, I know that I want more for my children. When I listen to Aubrey in the mornings, it helps my day start off calm and gentle for my little ones. I am a different mom. Her words of wisdom really touch my heart and help me daily.

apawarrenInsightful & joyful! This is a must-listen! I had taken several online courses with Aubrey before she started her podcast, and I had always wished she had more content so I could hear her speak more...I’m so thrilled she has the podcast! Her topics are relevant and interesting, her perspective is balanced and helpful, and I always leave feeling supported over the airwaves. Whether you are a Montessori fanatic or a parent seeking helpful and grounded advice, this is your podcast. Aubrey’s voice is also so calming and enjoyable to listen to!
-
cmkasperCalm and reasonableI love listening to Aubrey! Her voice is so easy to listen too😄 Her content consistently has a practical and grounding effect on me. She reminds me that I am enough, we have enough, and we are doing enough. In a society that is focused on getting more and being more, she is a voice of reason.

aldrinpotter17My perfect Montessori parenting guide!I cannot express enough how amazing this podcast has been for me in starting my own Montessori parenting journey. I truly do believe this is about education but, more importantly, it’s a way of life and a way of seeing the world. Thank you so much for making Montessori feel attainable for everyone, regardless of background or current resources. I absolutely love listening to your words and when I’m having a tough or particularly contemplative day, I listen to this podcast and feel calm, understood, and supported. Plus, it’s nice to feel like I’m doing something for myself (listening to a podcast) while still doing something wonderful for my family. This podcast is my self-care as a mom and I love every minute. Keep going please! And thank you SO SO MUCH for everything you do!

deborahmstoneHands Down One of the Best Parenting + Teaching Resources! This is a *must listen to* for every parent. If only I had discovered Aubrey 5 years ago, it would have saved me countless hours of scrolling blogs looking for encouragement as a parent and insight on the development of my child. Her podcast includes fun activities to do together for connection and to stimulate your child’s development, and she offers practical and sage advice as well. Now that I am beginning my homeschool journey, it has added yet another layer of relevancy and inspiration to this podcast. (And if you are like me, you will find that as a parent you also become a teacher, whether formally homeschooling or not! So this is essentially relevant to every parent!) Aubrey is a breath of fresh air, modeling authentic gratitude at the end of each episode that helps me learn how to reframe thoughts concerning my own life and circumstances as I try to embrace more of a growth mindset and positive parenting. Thank you, Aubrey. Each episode has been such a gift to me, and as a result, to my children as well.☀️

Kaitlin925So encouragingI’ve been interested in Montessori for over a year, would research here and there, but would always end up walking away, feeling like this is for some parent that has more time, money, patience, what have you, than I have. It wasn’t really until finding Aubrey’s podcast and website that I am finding a sustained confidence that I am capable of learning and implementing these principles with my children. I still have a ton of questions, and it’s going to be a process of learning with my children, and that’s okay! Her tag line (education is a journey we take with our children) seems so simple, but I’ve always felt three steps behind like I should already know it all. She gets right to the heart of what is important. Thank you, Aubrey!

cmt41785Such an Encouraging Podcast!Aubrey talks to you like a valued friend. She is honest, genuine and so encouraging! That said she doesn’t shy away from the difficult parts of parenting either. If you have ever considered Montessori, homeschooling, or just want to hear a fresh perspective, listening to her upbeat yet grounded thoughts brings such joy and peace to my day and my calling as a mama!
-

Big sky gyalLove it!Love, love, LOVE this podcast! It’s really the only one I listen to. Aubrey has such a positive, kind, compassionate way of sharing her gentle parenting methods and her Montessori parenting journey with us. I love learning various tips and strategies for parenting my little ones, including more about Maria Montessori’s approach to guiding children (which has been a game changer!). But I also finish the podcast feeling like I’m already doing a great job as a parent, as I strive to be the best mom I can be. Listening to Aubrey is like getting a big hug!
-

SwaughncBeautiful and inspiring podcastI am so thankful to have found this podcast. I took the potty learning class with Aubrey which was my intro to her. She has the most beautiful, kind spirit. I look forward to the podcast each week because it makes me a better parent. I honestly have found myself wondering during trying toddler times, “what would Aubrey do?” Because even if she hadn’t done a podcast on the particular issue I’m facing, she is the kind of person I strive to be: kind, gentle, caring and understanding. Thank you Aubrey!
-
Montessori_MommaExactly what this momma needed! You know those parenting days when you’re just completely unsure of yourself? When you feel like you need a mentor who can lovingly reassure you and help by offering tips to make this season peaceful and joyful? Those are the days when I turn to Aubrey and this beautiful podcast. I haven’t missed an episode - and each has left me feeling more at ease and more capable of being the kind of parent I know I want to be!
-
violannieThe perfect podcastAubrey is SO easy to listen to! My 3-year old asks “can we listen to Aubrey?”whenever I sit down to sew and she plays next to me. I love how she intertwines personal experiences with a lesson we can all learn from. She doesn’t hide the fact that she and her family are human, and I appreciate anyone who owns their imperfections! Thank you for being so generous with your time and your mind by putting this out there for us all to gobble up.
-
lashley15More than MontessoriI really enjoy listening her podcast. She’ s a Montessori witch that gives technique and advice how to tame your toddler and your own emotions so that we all kid n’ parents enjoy homeschool.
-
StephAtHomeMomEncouragingI have really appreciated listening to this podcast when I can. As a homeschool mom of three kids (5,3,1), I am still learning how to do this homeschool thing in peace. Sometimes self-doubt, confusion, and insecurities creep in my mind when I am guiding my children in our learning environment and when I listen to this podcast it helps to set my mind back in focus on our goals. I hope all who listen enjoy it as much as I do.
-
wyodakhomesteadWonderful TidbitsAubrey covers some great topics and answers questions that I honestly didn’t even know I had. It is refreshing to listen to someone with the same viewpoint on raising kids and I find myself more able to clarify my own views when having discussions after listening to her podcast. I love the Montessori Magic because I’ve gotten a couple of really great ideas for my daughter already! Keep it coming Aubrey!

JustJoyMamaLike a warm cup of coffee with a good friendListening to Aubrey’s wise advice and gracious reflections feels like enjoying a warm cup of coffee with a good friend who understands your struggles, offers empathy and encouragement, and leaves you feeling refreshed and ready to make some Montessori magic with your own kids. Many blogs, websites, and social media pages on Montessori focus on creating or presenting the materials (which is helpful and I love), but Aubrey also goes deeper to focus on the heart. Her classes and podcasts help me learn and grow as the prepared, thoughtful, gracious parent my children need, with lots of laughter and joy in the process. I’m so grateful for her and her willingness to share with us!
-

Britt Paige HenAubrey is my favorite parent and Montessorian to learn fromThis podcast is a dream come true for me. I can’t get enough of Aubrey’s content. I read her blog posts and books and am active in her Facebook group, and now I can hear from her weekly in a podcast! What a blessing. Thank you, thank you Aubrey. I’m a better parent because of you.

icp0606Best parenting / education podcastAubrey’s podcast is my favorite parenting / education podcast. It’s a pleasure to listen to her, she’s very clear, always gives examples, very kind and also realistic. It’s hard sometimes to get a realistic perspective of anything in parenting (including Montessori education and homeschooling), because a lot of people share picture perfect scenarios that rarely apply to the rest of us. Aubrey is perfect for making you believe that you can do it and to have realistic expectations about how parenting (and/or homeschooling) should be. She also is very practical: after listening to her you have clear ideas that you can apply. And she makes an amazing effort to bring the actual teachings of Maria Montessori to her listeners, and always makes you want to find out more, read more her words, etc. She stimulates curiosity and makes it all look doable, not a daunting task (for example, reading Montessori’s original work and interpret it and apply it to your goals). I love also how extremely kind she is and how she has a big focus on helping our children become good caring human beings. A lot of people mistakenly think that the goal of Montessori is to “make” our kids smarter or more successful, so it’s very refreshing to hear someone stress the goal of kindness, altruism and building together a better world. Thank you Aubrey!

Mortiz3!Mama Refreshment!Aubrey is a gem! I look forward to her podcasts and glean so much from each one. She offers encouragement and support for fellow montessori parents; honestly any parent would benefit from the wisdom she has (montessori or not). I also cherish all the resources she has (I own her book on toddler discipline and just gifted her first year milestone book to my sister.) She has been a great help to me as I navigate creating a montessori environment in my home and homeschooling my children. Thank you so much Aubrey!
-
