jazzandgraceThe BEST podcastI have been listening to John for a few years now and have learned so much about myself and how to communicate and relate to others in a healthy way. He’s my favorite therapist and I use the wisdom he teaches and the practical tools he offers in my daily life. John if you read this please provide an Endoresed Local Provider list for like minded therapists so your listeners can benefit since we can’t see you personally. 😊

Emelee624Fan Favorite for YearsThis podcast has been my favorite for YEARS. Like truly, 2021? 2020??? Even if you’re not a “dave ramsey” person, he is removed enough on this podcast to enjoy. I love a good call in show, and this doesn’t disappoint. I’ve even been a caller and it was so helpful, one of the biggest things I say is I wish it was new every day with episodes.
-
Grateful listener from OCDelony is no phonyApplicable, humble, professional. I like that he is grounded in research and has a respectful way of bringing in his own life examples when it’s appropriate. Feels relatable to the listener. No soapbox! I’ve only been listening for six months and look forward to his podcast every day. I learn something new. We look for the similarities not the differences. He is on my top three. Highly recommended to my closest friends.
-
Sb0784My favorite podcastBy far, this is the best podcast out there! It has helped me so much and I look forward to my three episodes a week
-
JediAnarionGenuine, Heartfelt, PatientI love how he really gives people time to feel. Especially when they are trying to process a trauma or grief- when the individual has just been going going going and not letting themself have time to feel their emotions.
-
LikofamI like the therapy side of it.Dr Deloney makes every call about himself. It’s getting so old. ALSO I’m noticing the only or most of the calls making on air are the most sensational such as sex and perversion questions. You call with one of those you’ll get in air lol. You call with a boring “my brother won’t talk to me” and you’ll never hear from them. Too bad because all problems are interesting and relatable to someone.
-
ErinS17Timeless wisdomMy husband left me 21 years ago for someone else. Since I started listening to Dr. John I have gained so many insights into my situation that have helped immensely to heal the wounds.
-
2much CaffeineAwesome showDr. John’s uncanny ability to get below the surface and hone in on the real issue in a humble and effective manner is amazing. And a sense of humor to boot!
-
John in the 813Helped me learn the language of my mental and emotional heathJohn, I wish I could fully express how important your show has been to me. But words fall way short. During and after my divorce 2 years ago, you helped teach me a whole new language about my thoughts and feelings. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

FindingyessiAccountability Tester in Podcast FormI’ve been a faithful listener of the Dr. John Delony show for a couple of years now and it has brought such a positive impact into my life. The reason I titled my review the way I did because it really challenges the way I show up in my relationships. It also helps me understand others better and his famous line “what’s the next right move”. I owe a lot of my mindset to this podcast and I’m glad I’ve let it change my mind in a lot of ways.
-
dbarlow1977Calming AdviceThis is my favorite podcast. I found Dr. John on TikTok, which brought me to the podcast. He has a way of making every issue seem fixable. I have learned so much about myself, my marriage, and my parenting by listening to his advice.
-
xGeekSquadxGender Biased AdviceI used to be a regular listener of the John Deloney podcast, but I’ve stopped tuning in due to a clear bias that has become hard to ignore. Dr. Deloney often takes a very different stance depending on the gender involved in a situation. When a woman violates a man’s personal space or behaves aggressively, it’s often brushed off as her being “a brat” or misunderstood. However, if a man were to behave the same way toward a woman, he’s immediately labeled as a creep, abuser, or criminal. This double standard is deeply concerning and undermines the importance of holding everyone accountable for their actions—regardless of gender. I expected more balance and fairness from someone in his position. Unfortunately, the show no longer feels like a safe or objective space for all listeners.

mmmquesoLove this Insightful and helpful podcast! This podcast is so good that I started listening a few weeks ago and haven’t been able to stop. John’s empathy, wisdom, and a no-nonsense approach truly helps people. Every episode feels like sitting down with a trusted friend regardless of the topic. His advice is practical and compassionate. I’ve personally grown so much from listening and will keep “partying” because of it.
-
Fourteen Feet FarmAwesome ShowI had watched clips of Dr. John on TikTok and other social media sites and would always be so interested! I had no idea I could listen to all of those episodes as a podcast! I am LOVING the show. It’s life changing and so interesting. I love listening to podcasts while I clean and work around the house and now I have 700+ episodes to catch up on! My house is going to be so clean! :) Thanks, Dr. John!! Maybe I’ll work up the courage to call in to the show someday!

-
GriefGuruAlways awesome!Love Dr. John’s authenticity and sound advice!
-
BetzjoHealthyDr Delony is a voice of reason and truth in the mental health arena. His vast experience and how he doesn’t shy away from bringing his own experiences to light make him very relatable. He’s soooo caring and compassionate with his callers, yet he also calls out the bull and holds one’s feet to the fire!! You can hear the smile in his voice, his easy laugh. Yet you can actually almost feel his arm around the shoulder of his callers as he is walking through their raw pain and revelations with them. You cannot go wrong by bringing this consistent and solid healthy advice into your podcast downloads.
-
#1r0bBEnjoy the showBut why do the episode titles make it sound like the Jerry Springer podcast? I’d like to see something more thoughtful than that.
-

MarkscaaSeriously life-transforming outlookDr. John’s outlook, advice, and insight are transformative. We need more humans like him. Thank you for the perspectives and data you provide. I’m sure it gets heavy sometimes, but you are building an army out here of better humans through your work. Brb, binging four years worth of this podcast.
-
preppy1973My favoriteThe BEST podcast ever! I love listening to the genuine, sound, and solid advice from Dr. John.
-
My2kidsarefunFocusDr. John’s ADHD can be seen from time to time; however, he is so focused on the person as they tell their story. He listens to what they are saying and what they are not saying. He advices them to grieve when they need to grieve, own their actions, and find closure. I recommend this podcast to everyone!
-
jclarremoreMy Number OneIn the last year, I started with the very first episode in 2020. I have loved every single episode of John Deloney‘s podcast. John, you have helped me more than you can possibly imagine. Thank you.
-
HannahN08The best mental health showWhat else needs to be said? Dr. John Delony has the best mental health show out there.
-
EdaycatholicfanLove the show!Such a fun mix of phycology, great life advice, humor, and entertainment.
-
equitonicNever miss an episodeLove the show. Deals with heavy stuff but has levity/humor to it as well. Practical advice and not overly intellectual (not to say Dr John isn’t a nerd) - he just makes the content more digestible. Even though the situations often don’t apply directly to my life, there are always useful nuggets that I am able to take away from the calls.
-
Ellia’s reviews. ✔️My favorite advice giver in the podcast world.Dr. Deloney, you have helped me so much. After listening to your podcast for a long time I have written my younger self a letter and healed areas of myself I thought already were healed. Thank you big. My husband and I both listen to your podcast on roadtrips together. You’ve grown to become one of our top 3 favorite podcasts ever. The way you talk and reason with the person. It’s everything about you. You’re a gift to the world Dr John. Keep shining your light.
-
Audri SGood Practical AdviceJohn keeps it real

This show has given new perspectives and insight into how I deal with all relationships, and I am grateful!
-
love th biblePlease never Stop the banter between Dr. John and Kelly !I couldn’t imagine this show without John and Kelly’s banter. It brightens my day. The show can get heavy and John and Kelly help bring the light and levity. Please never stop! Dr. John makes a difference in so many lives including mine. Kelly just makes it much more fun with their brother/sister banter! It’s truly the BEST!!!😂❤️
-
CRMFAMToo sensationalized nowI really enjoyed listening to the Dr. John Deloney show when I first discovered it a few years ago. It was practical advice that was actionable for both the caller and the listener. However, more recently the calls have become far to “Jerry Springer”-esque and are no longer relatable to the average person. It’s a shame.
-
AnilynKarelBinge Worthy!I absolutely love Dr. John and the wide variety of topics they bring to the show. You learn a ton!
-
Not cool, Facebook!!!!!!! 😠😠Used to be a #1 fanIt's getting old. I used to listen to a new episode every time it came out. It used to cover all kinds of topics. Now it's about sex and infidelity and nothing else. John constantly makes comments about how it's "going to be a good one." And I think it's way off base from the Ramsey ministry. Is John Delony even a christian? During one episode a woman called in about how she feels called to have children but right now life is crazy with med school etc and he basically said, "forget about all that cosmic stuff, what do YOU want?" Ummm Mr. Ramsey you better check on your guy Delony, his head is way too big now
-
adam the aEhLet me break the show down, nothing is your fault if you’re a woman, probably blame your parents for your behavior, try writing yourself a letter. That’s the whole show.
-
Rachael LavenderGiving horrible advice. When I first stumbled onto this podcast I was initially pleased. Finally an honest and down-to-earth therapist. The longer I listen I find myself disagreeing. Lately, this podcast is full of empty platitudes that are not helpful and usually have NOTHING to do with the issue. Or, Deloney will (more often than not) try to relate whatever situation to his own life, tell a long story about himself, and the kicker…it will not even remotely come close to relating to the poor caller.
-
datdude1,2Thank youI have been a fan of yours from the first time I heard you on The Dave Ramsey Show, even more so that I have found your podcast . Thank you for your transparency, encouragement, and wisdom that you give out to your listeners. I am in what I like to call the second act of life, I will be 55 in April( that’s not right😁 ), my children are grown, I had a lot of travel plans until 7/10/23 when circumstances arose to where my 2 year old grandson came to live with me. He is indeed a blessing yet it does not change the fact that raising kids is a young person’s game, I was 26 when I had my first child. I was prepared for the long haul to raise my grandson and sure enough in 11/2024 i became his guardian. I love my grandson to death, he is a beautiful spirit. I would be lying if I did not say there are moments I am drained as I have little to no help with him. I kind of prefer it so as to keep the peace. Add to that my circle has changed since I stopped drinking more than 2 years ago ( God was/is indeed working behind the scenes) and I have few people I can talk to yet I know God will bring the folk I need around me. Listening to you encourages to keep going and to be what my grandson needs so he can grow and flourish into manhood. Thank you Dr. Delony !!! Peace and blessings to you, your family and staff
-
BridgitteBlissParenting AdviceProbably not intended this way but I’ve gotten one of my go to parenting phrases from Dr. John. When my kids aren’t behaving I ask them, behavior is a language, what are you telling mommy? This has helped my 4 year old understand the concept of consequences.
-
lunavurtthe truth is toughThis is content for those who want to hear and have tough conversations. no need for butt sucking or tip toeing. you have changed my life by giving people advice that correlates in some way or shape with my problems. amazing work Dr. John and team.
