I’ve enjoyed Melissa’s podcasts for over a year now both to help me plan Disney vacations and also just for fun to enjoy Disney things while I wait for my next trip. :) A couple of highlights for me: - I took advice from this podcast on a location to watch the parade and had a super memorable experience because of it! - I love the “once upon a time” episodes to learn more about specific rides and to share with others to get them excited about Disneyland. I highly recommend this podcast!

Love to listen in on Melissa’s voice every week such a pleasant voice to listen to, sweet and relaxing and makes me revisit all my Disney memories until I can make my next trip. When listening, I feel like Melissa is my best friend! My favorite episodes dive into history of Disneyland and I find myself telling my husband all the little fun things I learn. Melissa give lots of tips and ways to even find magic in lines for attractions. I love living through her trip recaps as it makes me feel like I was right there with her.

I’ve become obsessed with planning my kids’ first trip to Disneyland this summer. I haven’t been since 2008, so I need a lot of tips, tricks, and info! I’ve been listening to a ton of podcasts, and this one is my favorite! Her tips are helpful and she explains them well. I like her calm voice. I also really like how she keeps it positive—some Disney podcasters can get negative or nit-picky. Even when she says something isn’t great, it’s more like “well this is not for me, but maybe you and your family would like it.” Also, as a history buff in general, I love the history episodes!

I always love listening to this podcast. The sound quality and speed are great and her voice is nice and relaxing to hear. I always learn about the latest Disney parks news and lots of helpful tips and tricks!

I’m always happy to see a new available episode of Melissa’s podcast. Her show is relaxing, informative, and filled with good humor. She’s also so relatable! I completely agree that I would rather be comfortable than dress up for an event, for example. She is in the parks often, and has great advice. Very fun show! As an update: still listening, still smiling. This is one of the few podcasts I listen to that is truly relaxing. I appreciate how real Melissa is; I enjoy hearing about how she manages her day to day life as well as time in the Parks. She also sometimes has fun guests. A Disney podcast I’m always glad to listen to.

If you’re planning a trip to Disney, this podcast is your new best friend! I found this when I was just looking for tips on Genie+, but found myself listening to episode after episode because there’s so much to learn from Melissa! It’s also fun to learn new things about the parks that I didn’t know before. All around a great listen and definitely worth your time.

I came across Melissa and Mix in Some Magic in that process and I loved her informative Instagram feed for a while before I realized she had a podcast. I always loved Disneyland as a kid but hadn’t gone in 12 years and needless to say the park has changed! My wife was always hesitant about Disney so when I told her I wanted to take our 2 and 4 year old sons, she thought I was crazy but she still reluctantly agreed. I knew I had to make this Disneyland trip a great one if I ever wanted another one. I found Melissa’s podcast and I was both entertained and educated. Thanks to her help, during our 3 day trip we managed to hit over 50 attractions without ever skipping a nap or waiting in line for longer than 20 minutes! So much has changed with the park since I was a kid so Melissa’s podcast has been an invaluable tool in planning our trip. She has so many tips and tricks for visiting with kids. I initially found Mix in Some Magic while trying to learn more about Genie+ before my last trip in February 2023, and now I’ve listened to the entire back catalog. This podcast is informative, positive and wholesome, and because of it I was able to get last minute Blue Bayou reservations with Melissa’s tip about Mouse Dining which was awesome. I follow her on Instagram too and love watching all her stories when she’s in the parks. Highly recommend for the weekly serotonin boost alone.
