Used to love this podcast until I was eager to listen to the tribute to the late Grant Wahl and am greeted with a gambling ad to introduce the topic along with a four minute, five ad-spot break mid conversation. I understand that this is a business but this is a disgusting act that I will not support. If you want to monetize a tribute, how about not doing it at all instead. Cancelling my subscription. Hope the journalists at the Athletic can find more ethical employers because they won’t be getting my support any longer.
