I’m only a casual fan of both whiskey and The Witcher, but I really enjoy listening to this podcast because of Tim and Valerie’s enthusiasm for these things! What keeps me returning is their discussions beyond just the nitty gritty lore details of The Witcher (which are also great!). They look at things from a more macro level like fandom + fan activity, plus the forces that impact production and distribution in Hollywood. It’s very well rounded. Whether you’re a Witcher pleb like I am and want to learn more about this world or a seasoned (perhaps even grizzled) fan, there’s something for everyone here. And I’ve learned a lot about whiskey!

It’s like drinking with your friends, only Tim and Valerie actually WANT to do deep dives about your Witcher hyper obsession. I love that you can come along with them as they read the books, comics, watch other versions of The Witcher, explore the fandom, and give their honest opinions. They don’t try to love everything or hate everything. They’re just real. And I love that.

Great podcast. It’s fun to hear the hosts through their various states of inebriation. The segments they use during their “main” episodes - where they recap and review an episode of the Netflix show, adds good structure which is often missing in the “two people talk about a thing” genre of podcasts. Would listen to these two talk about any number of other topics, especially if whiskey (or similar) is involved.

With so much negativity out there, it can be hard being a Witcher fan at times. Fortunately, these two make it super fun, with discussion that’s insightful, balanced and never takes itself too seriously. And they know their whiskey to boot! Always a lively listen!

Not a fan of Whiskey however these folks know how to dig in to all things Witcher. Loved Rebekah as a guest hope she’s back! Milva fans unite!!

The hosts have a fun rapport, and I love hearing their thoughts on all things Witcher. I’ve also learned a thing or two about whiskey from them! Great podcast.

A helping of informed, often erudite, deep dives into the world(s) of The Witcher, with a side of whiskey reviews, cocktail recipes and witty banter. I love that the hosts cover not only the Netflix series but also the books, games, ancillary media and the fandom itself. My favorite bits are the Side Quests.

I’ve been looking for this type of podcast on the Witcher the type that can appreciate the different versions of Witcher! I’ve gone back and watched Witcher from beginning and listen to y’all as I fall asleep!

It’s been a blast to listen to this podcast. I’m a big fan of The Witcher TV show and this podcast dives into the story and characters from it, plus it compares the show to the games, books, and general lore (which I knew nothing about previously). Plus, I love hearing about the whiskey pairing choices and how they tie into the show in clever ways. Tim and Val are engaging and entertaining hosts. Looking forward to listening to more episodes!
