How much they hate on Bo Nix is hilarious

I loved this podcast when it was Ryan and Rick. I know it will continue to be awesome with Ryan around his new cast of contributors. Great content and great people! Very happy for Ryan and this lane he has found for himself.

Ryan Wilson is great but for me, not worth the time since Rick Spielman left.

Great show for NFL draft content. Only negative thing I’ll add….please keep Emory Hunt away. Seems like a nice guy, but he has some of the WORST takes in the industry. Every time I hear him as a guest on any podcast, I know he’s going to say some ridiculous stuff that just doesn’t make sense.

Just so after thought. No research. No connecting actual players they would draft.

It was tough to get through the episode. It seems like they might know a little something, but nothing was added to any draft discussion. Just tired takes on the same tired players. Also, too many opinions expressed as facts with no supporting evidence.

Great show with a question for the scout in the corner. Do you think a GM could get interested enough in Dart to move into the bottom of the first and do a trade like the Panthers did last year to get their guy? I’m specifically speaking about teams in the top of the second that were not able to grab a QB in the first round or passed on a QB hoping to grab Dart, Milroe, Howard or Ewers? Tried to fool you with the title of the review.

Ryan is my favorite! Always hilarious and super easy going, but Rick is pretty great too lol. Best draft show out there. I think if he hadn’t gotten hurt so much, early in his career, he would be in the QB1 conversation based on skill. Had a crazy no look pass against a good Notre Dame secondary for a touchdown. And obviously outplayed Cam Ward, who played a great game, in their duel, even though Miami came away with the win. To me, he looks similar to how Stafford looked at UGA. Built like Herbert with a crazy strong arm and good decision making. Also Rene Konga (6-4, 290lbs) an under the radar day 3 picks from same school, along the defensive front, with upside. And please take a look at Jailin Walker at Indiana University…. Hard hitting old school linebacker who plays with a chip on his shoulder. Also if you were the Indianapolis colts, what would you do with GM, QB, Coach, etc?

Really liked what I saw in some high lights that looked great but he isn’t being talked about anywhere and wonder if my intrigue is fueled by my inexperience.

Barion Brown and Dane Key - both 4 star prospects out of HS and true juniors this year. Would be great to hear about both but Barion is probably more likely to enter the draft and will be a combine standout.

Just read a review that said Ryan is great and they needed to draft him a new partner instead of Rick Spielman. On top of that Ryan was crowing about his dollar bet victory over Rick with a conclusion that his victory shows that he is just as smart as NFL professionals. The ONLY reason to listen to this show is the actual information that Rick Spielman is able to share with the audience. The format of the show is amusing but without Rick this is just another show with another “know nothing” talking head saying random controversial nonsense about the NFL. Listen to the show! Rick actually makes you smarter about the NFL and the NFL draft process.

Always stoked for a new episode. It’s very cool to learn how things really work in the NFL, especially around draft season. Rick is awesome.

With the first pick I hope Deebo drafts Ryan a new partner. Rick is like a pompous Teddy Ruxpin that only has the starter cassette.

The uploads are frequent/timely, and the shows have been excellent lately.

This pod is the best. Wilson and Rick together are both insightful and hilarious. I have a mailbag question if you all don’t mind. I am a life long Vikings fan. Rick recently said we almost had to trade 3 firsts to move up for JJ if that is what it takes. Wilson noted that we would be losing value there because everyone else is getting their guy for one pick. My question is, if we are going to lose value y wouldn’t we just draft penix at 11? Is JJ really 2+ first round picks better than penix? Side note: love and appreciate u Rick for all u did for our organization.

Overall, this seems like one of the stronger Draft classes we’ve seen in a while! Compared to the weaker 2022 class, how many of the 2024 prospects would go first overall if they were coming out in 2022 (over Travon Walker, Derek Stingley, etc)

What about the falcons drafting a receiver they really need one and maybe Atlanta trades down and get chop Robinson then going and drafting a receiver and corner later and the bears should draft Byron murphy because they already have an edge but they need interior help and Byron Murphy is awesome maybe Jonny newton if yall like him a lot

This is a must listen! The chemistry between these two is awesome. I guarantee you will be entertained and ,by the time the draft rolls around, you will know the names that are called as they call them. If you happen to like wagering, this pod helped me nail 5 of 6 draft prop bets (LaPorta as 1st TE off the board was a +6000 long shot that missed, and in retrospect, he outperformed Kincaid). Bottom line: add this one to your list!

Great show and love the interaction between the host. Although I think Rick might be able to be a little more snarky. OK, maybe not. I have a question for the general manager. Sorry I mean, Rick. The original general manager. It is about coaching. I am sure it is different in all teams, but I have always been curious. You mentioned the head coach hires the coaching staff, which is understandable. My questions are about the finances. Is it normally we have X amount of money and you can find your person for that amount? we want Coach see how much he wants? Or we have X amount of money for an entire staff so get who you want with that amount of money?

I love this show. I’ve been a regular listener since the first episode. Insights from Rick and Ryan are great, in the offseason through training camp and through the NFL season. Definitely will continue listening to every new episode. I’d love to hear a review of WR Devaughn Vele coming out of Utah.

I really really want to like the podcast but Rick is so condescending and treats everyone else like they’re children. It’s a shame because it could be so much better

Seem like nice enough guys but simply too many mistakes. Once I hear something patently incorrect and pretty commonly known I have to turn it off, tough to take seriously. Last ep a host said Tannehill was drafted by the titans in the first 5 minutes. Next one Spielman named Kyren Williams a rookie back to watch. If I know more about who is in these draft classes, why would I listen to the show? It’s a niche topic that they somehow still bungle.

Started listening to this show before the draft last year to prepare for my fantasy football rookie drafts.. and these guys were awesome! Ryan and Rick are both so much fun to listen to as well as being exceptionally knowledgeable about skills and traits of future stars. These guys identified Sam Laporta before anyone else and it paid off for me huge! For my 5 star review can you please do Brian Thomas Jr. from LSU. Does he have what it takes to become the next DK Metcalf? Is his talent overshadowed by Nabers greatness?

Great podcast the back and forth arguments are always cracking me up. A recruit I think you should look at is Danny Stutsman from Oklahoma i don’t know if he is going to the draft this year but he really made some strides this year for that Oklahoma defense!
