    Why did the format change?
This used to be so good. The narrator had the best voice but recently he hardly ever speaks and it is just a compilation of witnesses speaking. It’s not enjoyable to follow along and I the don’t know the relation of the speakers to the victim. Go back to old format, please.

    BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL NARRATOR
I listened to this podcast because of the narrator. He made the episodes interesting and captivating to listen to. BRING HIM BACK STAT!!!!! Please!!!!

    WHY DID IT CHANGE?
Why have the last two episodes been different than the other episodes? The narrator is no longer on it. It doesn’t have the same feel if this is going to be the new way these episodes are produced. I am no longer interested. Bring back narrator and bring back the vibes!!!!

    I don’t support racism
I refuse to listen to a podcast that thinks America is racist.

    Like watching the show!
Great podcast! I love how this podcast is so similar to the ID shows with the re-enactments and different characters! It keeps me intrigued! It’s not like listening to an audio book with just the same voice over and over!

Great podcast, horrible narrator and re-enactments
The stories are great! However, the re-enactments are over the top and completely unnecessary. The narrator’s voice is slow and annoying.

    Hot and Deadly
I came across this Podcast on Spotify and it quickly became my favorite! So much so that I need more episodes. I have been repeating episodes lol. It is so good! I haven’t been able to find a podcast that has come close to it.

    Well made **update**
Devastating stories shared using non-cheesy reenactments. Enjoying it so far. **Just finished binge-listening & I’m so sad to see there hasn’t been an episode since September!! The tragic cases had me sitting in shock, disbelief or breaking down sobbing. Really hope you continue to share these stories.

    Love ANYTHING ID!!
Firstly, everyone complaining about the reenactments, y’all do realize this is a tv show & they’re literally turning the tv show as it is into a podcast episode. If you watched one of these episodes as the show version you’re gonna see the reenactment as you heard them on the podcast. It’s like the 20/20 podcast. It’s literal episodes of 20/20 just recorded into a podcast episode. Re-enactments do sound stupid if you’re not able to see them. I do understand that. But all of these ID channel podcasts are like this because they’re ALL actual tv shows just recorded into a podcast as they are with no edits. So either enjoy it or just watch the tv show so you can see the reenactments. That is all. PS-I love this & ALL ID channel pods. My only complaint is when they go on hiatus it’s SO LONG before they come back!! Like 8-9 months long!!

    Ok
Would get 5 stars if they left out the re-enactments. They are so cringey

    More meat, less potatoes.
I just couldn’t get past the crap reenactments. Are they just filling time with fluff? How does this pod have such a good rating? See ya!

    I like it
Great podcast! My only complaint is that the re-enactments are awful and unnecessary.

    Just isn’t holding my interest
I don’t really like the way the show is laid out and the way the host speaks. It’s just not my cup of tea there for a three rating.

    Finally!
A show that tells a story, keeps you entertained, & reveals the killer at the end. Simple and perfect.

    A Must Listen!
This well done production will captivate you from the start! Produced with a perfect blend of interviews and southern style narration; each production will capture your interest from the beginning. If you like podcasts along the lines of Dateline, this is one you don’t want to miss!

    Hot and deadly
Thanks for a very entertaining podcast! At times it gives you the thrills or you may want to cry. The story reenactment is very well done.

    LOVE this podcast
The narrators voice actually keeps me engaged while being soothing at the same time. Great story teller, and good re-enactments to make it feel like you’re right there in the story!
  • goatgirlmama
    Great listen
The narrator has an amazing voice and is so easy to listen to. It has suspense but unlike a lot of true crime the language is not offensive. Very enjoyable listen.
  • 67sadypants
    Lazy and cobbled together
This show is truly awful. I love true crime and have a very low threshold for considering something good, but this is like someone copied and pasted all the cheesiest bits of murder melodrama they could find, then rammed it full of nonsense reenactments that are annoying and not relevant to something I am listening to and not seeing with my eyeballs. It’s actually very confusing and annoying. This is not a new show, it’s repackaged crap that they are trying to sell as new. I have not been fooled. Show unfollowed.

Revisits the same old overdone cases… sound effects are unnecessary

    Good real life stories
I completely enjoy the stories. The re-enactments you hear in the background make it seem as if you are right there. It totally adds to the experience for me. I am a true crime fan, and a history podcast fan. It isn’t that easy to find podcasts I enjoy. Many times it is the voice I just can’t listen too. I find this podcast very easy to listen to. I will stick around, can’t wait for more episodes.

    Unnecessary sound effects
Could be a great podcast-good interviews and narration. But please stop with the screaming sound effects, it adds nothing to the story and dramatizes what doesn’t *need* to be dramatized. We get it. There was probably a struggle...that’s why they’re dead and being featured on this podcast.
  • Ida_Rathernot
    Meh.
I really want to like this podcast. The story telling is succinct. But the gratuitous re-enactments of screaming is unnecessary and jarring.
