It’s hit or miss as to whether it will actually help me sleep, but it’s so interesting and calming to hear. I have insomnia, so there isn’t much that I can do to guarantee sleep but this has helped more than a LOT of other things I’ve tried. Worth a listen, even if you’re not trying to fall asleep.

When I saw the notification of SEASON 2 of drifting off I almost cried. I’ve been waiting so long for this next season. I found this podcast randomly when I was living abroad and having a hard time fixing my sleep schedule with time zones. Plus the loneliness of moving somewhere completely new on my own was scary and this podcast honestly calmed my anxiety and help me fall asleep so fast. My sleep doesn’t feel complete without joes voice so I’ve found myself listening to the first season on repeat again and again. Finally!! Thanks Joe for gettin back behind that mic to talk us to sleep xoxox

Since we no longer have the TV show, this is truly the next best thing!

I really enjoy this sleep podcast. However, I find the addition of ads in season 2 very distracting. The ads woke me up at the end of episode 1. I think it would be more effective if Joe Pera read the ads like in some other podcasts. That way he can still receive ad revenue but won’t distract from the sleep aspect of this podcast.

I love this show! Joe Pera is a very unique comedian and I cherish this pod. Also, his show Joe Pera Talks with You gives a similar feel

I was already a big fan of Joe Pera’s but just recently found out about this podcast. The soup episode will always remind me of eating the last chicken noodle soup my mom made, trying to memorize its taste and the way the broth looked.

So thankful for this podcast!!!! It helps calm my anxious night brain! Falling asleep grinning, laughing, and feeling at peace…

I love sleeping with Joe Pera! Not like that though. This man is a lullaby legend. Season two is a dream come true. I’m already asleep.

I love his show Joe Pera Talks With You such a genuinely a sweet and wholesome and hilarious show and amazing and it’s sad got canceled. But this podcast very great Joe does amazing job striking blance honestly very relaxing stuff but funny stuff too also actually engaging stuff. I’m hoping Joe Pera will soon return for the podcast I’m sure he is because he is finally back after touring which I got the great honor to see one of his live show very hilarious and great stuff but fair enough if he needs some time before that happens lots sort of many reasons and he absolutely has right to take time he needs he clearly cares and want quality over quantity very sweet but I am very looking forward to the return this podcast whenever it is.

I was listening to the video games episode, and I have an issue with putting “the west wasn’t won/stolen” into the video. Any historian can tell you that literally every culture (yes including the natives) took land from enemies and expanded as far as possible. What I’m trying to say it’s not really stealing as we would know it.

I love this podcast. I used to watch the Videos on AS and YouTube of “Joe Pera talks to you sleep”. I think there is something so comforting about Joe and his guest stars talking about normal non political topics. It’s something most anyone can relate too and understand. Thank you Joe!

Joe Pera is a national treasure.

I’ve played the clarinet since I was 9, using my fathers yamaha clarinet from his childhood. I love playing it, and my time spent in local music stores has always been joyous. Joe captured my love for music so perfectly it brought me to happy nostalgic tears. Thank you Joe, everything you’ve done has heart in it, something not everyone can do.

This harkens back to the days when I would listen to "The Great White North Album" on cassette while drifting off on a school night. It's wonderful to have Joe's soothing voice and dry sense of humor take listeners on dreamy journeys into his imagination. The music score and ambient sound effects add to the overall soft tone of a bedtime story. My only complaint is that there aren't more episodes available. Keep them coming, and I will keep listening. Even if there are no new episodes, I will continue to play the ones I already have again and again just like I did with Bob and Doug McKenzie as a child. Good day!

I appreciate the artistry and hard work that goes into the regular episodes, but I often find them too distracting and jangly for bedtime. Please consider doing more simple episodes like #7! Listening to Joe just read and ramble on about various things makes me feel so happy and sleepy.
