I love anime so much I just feel a special feeling from it and it gives me hope inspiration and when I am down cheers me up.my favorites are demon slayer Naruto Mha Naruto shippuden sailor moon love avatar so my uncle like he is one the ones I could talk to anime about but I am mostly getting into right now not really an anime but five nights at Freddy’s I love Scott cawthon and his work he really is good in what he does cause I usually do not like horror stuff but gang is different. I’d been missing a sense of community since Rooster Teeth’s Fan Service podcast (still available on Crunchyroll) shut down due to reasons (scandal noted). There was nothing, NOTHING I could do about it! One-million years later.. I found what I had been missing, a Comfort Anime in the form of a podcast, a Comfort Podcast. The Anime Effect! I don’t always agree with their ani-pinions, but I will always listen because that’s what they do for their fans (also, they know their stuff). They have my utmost respect for the positivity, curiosity, and joy (good vibes) they bring into the world. I came for the anime, and stayed for the Effect. I hope they keep doing what they’re doing so I can keep tricking others into listening to them! Ganbare!

One of my favorite episodes so far is the one featuring Denzel Curry (Episode 26: "Watching Anime You Were NOT Supposed To"), where he talks about how anime shaped his career. I want to preface, I have started many podcasts and usually get bored after a few episodes, take a break, come back or completely forget about it. This is the first podcast that I have listened to or watched that I keep coming back too. The reason is that this cast is just genuine. Whether it is just Nick, LeAlec and Leah all together or just one or two of them with a random guest host filing in you can tell they all love what they are doing and enjoy working together. This show also shows you how influential Anime/Manga has been to kids from the 80s/90s or later (yes I am part of the 30 plus club LeAlec). Currently on the Vegas arc of the show lol, but will be current soon Some here is my question: Has there ever been a poll or study done about adults who grew up watching shows like Pokémon, Digimon, Gundam or Captain Planet, MMPR, etc. that went on to study STEM, Environmental Science, Zoology, etc? P.S. Nick do not get a tattoo of this, but you should get one of your two favorite Pokémon, because of this review.

Hello its Apex back yet again with another recommendation. I only added that cause when you guys read my 2nd recommendation you recognized my name :3 I have to recommend Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest. There’s 9 episodes so far and it was so easy to reconnect with the Fairy Tail cast. I didn’t realize how much I missed them until I started watching this show. The animation is great and the music hits just as hard as the original series. As always love the cast and keep up the great work!

Hi! Big fan of the podcast. I was catching up on some episodes and noticed on the episode originally about isekai anime. Mushoku Tensei:jobless reincarnation was not given near enough recognition! It’s one of my favorites! The depiction of mental health struggles,fantasy, romance, and mature storyline captured me from the beginning. The second season was amazing. Hope you give it a try if you haven’t already! Also Shadows House is another great one. Thanks!

Love demon slayer, chainsaw man, aot, mha, mob psycho, one piece, death note

Part one: Absolutely love the podcast. Look forward to new episodes every week and and enjoy them greatly. So thankful for it and you all that make it happen. Keep them coming PLEASE. Part two: isekai: “other world”. So any anime that has the main character(s) living in world that isn’t their own can be considered an isekai. Some more than others of course. .hack//sign though. The OG of the isekai anime. Video game where the main protagonist is stuck in the game. So that along with SAO are for sure Isekai. Shangri-La Frontier I’ve yet to watch, but technically by translation of what Isekai means it could be loosely an Isekai. The Bofuri anime I always considered an Isekai in the same way. I guess you have your voluntary Isekai like the video game scenarios and then your involuntary like the .hack/sign, SAO season 1, Mushoku Tensei, Ashes and Illusion. I don’t think it’s black and white really. You have an Isekai scale with a slider that you can move up and down based on the context of the story and such if that makes sense? Just my thoughts!

Immediately became one of my favorite podcasts, I look forward to every episode. I am watching One Piece (Wano Arc), Shangri-La Frontier , Frieren and some others. Update : This show is still killing it

I was caught off-guard by how emotional I got during the episode with LiSA. I was so moved by her viewpoint on everyday life that she got from her mom, and was touched by her feelings about performing and what she wanted to portray with the film-concert. There’s a reason why her music is a steward for fans going into and saying good bye to shows. All these insights were brought about by the excellent interview from Le and Nick. Big kudos! They were both so personable with LISA. Also this translator! Wow. It really felt like a 1:1 conversation with LiSA. They did not miss an emotional beat.

I have had found certain parts of what I had believed a certain video version of a certain installment of this "Crunchyroll Presents: The Anime Effect" to had been vulgar (or profane), unnecessary, unprofessional, negative, and detrimental (especially toward certain parts of it I had found to had been enjoyable and informative) (note: name of the installment mentioned earlier in this review: "SPY x FAMILY Season 3, Anime Expo 2024 & 50 Essential Manga (ft. Bri Lawrence)").

Name is Matt. Recommendation for everyone that hasn’t watched, My wife and I have been getting really invested in Bungo Stray Dogs recently. Already have watched the first 2 seasons and the Dead Apple movie. I’m shocked that with all my love of Shonen I was sleeping on this show. It has 5 seasons and a movie and it so far is greatly deserved. We will see where we are at after 5 seasons but this could be a top 10 for both of us. If you are a Shonen/Action fan and haven’t watched this, I have to say you might be missing out. Give it a watch.

I have enjoyed this show since I started listening about two months ago. And I really, really, REALLYREALLY want to recommend that people watch Oblivion Battery on CR. It’s about a high school baseball team that is put together with the core being a “battery” (pitcher-batter) who are amazing…except the catcher now has amnesia. But it’s really not just a baseball anime - it gets into sports psychology, and is also HILARIOUS. I wish more people would watch it!!!!

I never see this recommended yet it is a great show. Only 12 episodes but a great story and animation. juni taisen zodiac war is worth a watch!

Great podcast, I am really enjoying it. It would be great if you could make a webpage per podcast episode with the names and links to the shows you mention during the show. I often listen to the podcast while driving and would love to have a list of all shows mentioned during the show rather than having to pause the podcast because I would like to write the names down. Also, occasionally the pronunciation of certain episode names make it harder to find the show the hosts are talking about. Thanks again and keep up the great work! PS. I love this podcast every Friday I am always ready to know and jump into the world of Anime!!! I have just started exploring new and OG Anime as I am currently watching Naruto Parasyte Maxim and for horror fans out there especially Leah I would definitely recommend Dark Gathering which I believe is Horror in its finest in Anime form!!! This podcast has really expanded me to open my eyes and really see what the power of Anime REALLY IS!!!!
