menSwear by a Woman

0

A podcast exploring menSwear from a woman's perspective. Join me as I speak to a huge range of people from within the industry. From brand owners to designers and entrepreneurs. I will also be sharing my own experiences within the menSwear universe as well as hearing about other people’s journeys. The highs and lows and everything in between. Exploring diversity, equality, creativity and struggles. Ultimately questioning whether women are changing and challenging menswear or is it still a male dominated universe. Is there a seat for women at the table? Let’s find out...Sarmilla

    Great Perspectives and Guests
Love the diverse perspectives, breadth of guests, and depth of knowledge. So much to dive into. Menswear can feel stale if you stay in one or two little bubbles, so I love the podcast’s approach to the familiar from different angles. Bonus points for an interviewer that gives the guests space to speak rather than cutting them off or talking over them!

    Ignorant interviewer
Listened to her podcast with W David Marx, it’s obvious she hasn’t read yet alone done research on Ametora, the book she wanted to discuss with Marx. She asks very shallow, frankly idiotic questions.

Women in Tailoring ft Dennise Yeh
I have listened to several of the menSwear by a Woman podcasts. Today’s episode featuring Dennise Yeh was incredibly entertaining and informative. Sarmilla is so talented in allowing her guests to shine and leave us with great gems to ponder. It was during the most recent iteration of Pitti Uomo that I really became aware of the fantastic women who are such menswear enthusiasts, whether they be in the trade, wear men’s tailoring, or both. I was aware of Dennise from her instagram page @women_in_tailoring. Have a look at her page and listen to the podcast. Her insight and instincts about tailoring are marvelous. Whether you are a man or a woman you will come away, not only with information about Dennise’s style, but questions to consider about your own style. David
